Open Call: Pitch Reels

Cleaners Pitch:

In Philadelphia the blood seems to be filling the streets, literally everyday it seems people are killed and the mess of death grows. But their is someone cleaning it up, the blood I mean, left over from the deaths and suicides that fill this city. America is a land of opportunity and the many private enterprises in this country seem to be jumping on the idea of homicide and suicide cleanup, its good business. This project is meant to satirically look at a city through the eyes of a businessman who is in the business of cleaning up all the blood thats running in the streets. We will see the cities many problems with race tensions and gentrification as well as how America's hotbed of profit may be in murders and deaths. This cynical piece may seem a bit too much but I feel that it is an important piece for our times and important to cover in the debate of our ongoing racism, what is said about the black on black crimes and the constant push to keep the violence in the outskirts and how to fix this is to first see how seriously absurd it is.
