The Pitch:
Interviews with geese may be an odd way to explain why humans should vote, but on many levels, this is a useful metaphor. Unlike the rest of the animal kingdom, humans have vast potential to alter their current environment. Strangely, this potential seems largely unfulfilled. With shots of geese eating hand-outs, sleeping in railroad tracks, walking across busy streets, these unfortunate geese continue to be victims of their environment. A black-and-white goose (canadian goose) wonders why humans allow the current political environment to dictate their circumstances rather than the other way around as humans have the ability to control their future. Shots of a space-station, an aerial view of a marathon race beginning (stock videos available) inspire and illustrate humanity's ability to act on imagination and ideas. And to be a part of the election process by voting.

I like it. Short and to the point. I would just take out the last two sentences of the pitch.

I'd let the geese appear to do all the talking - perhaps that's what the producer has in mind.

This is totally out there but I think I like it for that!
story
sure there's a story: the geese 'wish' they could vote and can't and perhaps resent the fact that we humans can vote and most of us don't. As the geese state their various grievances, the viewer is reminded that, unlike the geese, humanity has an enormous potential to change anything. That's the story. Human Potential. This nation, air/space travel, skyscrapers, cars, electricity, etc etc wouldn't exist if it weren't for Ideas and the determination to make them come true.
