Produce for WGBH

From time to time the WGBH Lab will acquire or commission content outside of the flagship programs, Open Call and Filmmakers in Residence.

Independent producers are invited to submit finished pieces or works in progress. The Lab also considers proposals for new features, interstitials, and programs geared primarily but not exclusively for PBS.

Currently, the Independent Television Service is offering LINCS grants up to $100,000 for production partnerships between stations and independent producers. (click here for more details) If you would like your project to be considered for a LINCS grant, submit your project as soon as possible to Produce for WGBH -- more than 2 weeks in advance of ITVS's 5/30/08 deadline.

The WGBH Lab welcomes program concepts and multimedia from diverse perspectives that embody a spirit of innovation and experimentation. We seek new approaches to generating and developing content with a local focus on news, public affairs, the arts, bilingual and bi-cultural programs, and programs of interest to communities of color.
