Footage from inside the DNC in 1932 as Senator Alben Barkley, waxing eloquent about FDR's many talents, introduces the nominee to a crowd roaring with approval. The Senator would meet a tragic demise in 1956 while giving a keynote speech at Washington and Lee University's mock convention.
