A close up of a single snowflake quickly dissolves into a narrow shot of tree branches completely covered in snow. In a smooth singular move, the camera pulls out from the tight, almost visually abstract density of white tree branches to a full reveal of the trees in snow. Filmed for NOVA, "The Shape of Things."
